The adventure continues with eight years in Guadeloupe, followed by another Atlantic crossing, from west to east, to return to her home port, La Rochelle.

Great boat and, above all, an exceptional handover from David. Even before boarding, he sent us a very detailed technical manual for the Bavaria 36, perfectly clear and comprehensive. David, who holds Captain and Yacht Master qualifications, stood out for his professionalism and constant availability. Throughout the cruise, he was always reachable to answer any technical or navigation question — a real plus for sailing with peace of mind. We were four adults and three children aboard, and everyone had a wonderful time thanks to his warm welcome and excellent support. Highly recommended, without hesitation!
We spent a week on Marveda, with lovely sailing trips to Les Saintes and Dominica. She is a well-maintained, seaworthy boat and very enjoyable to sail. Inside, there is every comfort needed for cooking and enjoying the incredible Caribbean anchorages. David and Julie are very friendly; communication was easy, they were available and had plenty of good advice on places to visit. Highly recommended.

Marveda is a comfortable, capable and very well-maintained sailing yacht. Everything works well, especially the sails, which are effective even with a cautious reef. Three large cabins, a hot shower on the bathing platform and a dinghy on davits are exceptional on a 36-footer. Our weekend return trip to Marie-Galante with five adults was very enjoyable in perfect weather. David knows the sailing area well and gives good advice. He is always reachable, friendly and accommodating. As we live in Guadeloupe, we will charter Marveda again as soon as possible.
All the pleasure of a well-equipped owner’s boat — solar panels, davits and dinghy, a generously sized battery bank and many thoughtful extras — compared with a charter-fleet boat. Great service from David, the owner, who readily shares his favourite anchorages and freediving spots. I recommend this boat without hesitation.
